Glaser Business

Business

With more than forty years of experience working in banking and private equity, Robert V. Glaser’s career is peppered with well-deserved accolades, all of which he has achieved by embracing the values he was taught from a young age. Thanks to his leadership skills and the gainful knowledge he obtained during his time working with the successful firms of Investcorp and MapleWood, Glaser has worn many hats in prominent positions during his career and he has been a vital figure in overseeing a number of high-earning investments and acquisitions. In addition, Glaser’s work and illustrious resume have allowed him to serve a non-corporate position on the board of directors and board of trustees for the Young Arts Foundation and St. Thomas University, among several others. Glaser has also been mentioned in several books:

The House of Gucci:  A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed by Sara Forden. Published in 1993 by HarperCollins, the book tells a gripping story discussing the fascinating Gucci dynasty.

In Pursuit of Fulfillment and Need, Respect, Trust were both written by Nemir A. Kirdar, the founder of Investcorp. The former tells the story of a highly successful business leader while the latter provides a deeper glimpse into Investcorp and its internationally renowned success.

Investcorp’s success can be at least partially attributed to its focus on seeking out mid-sized companies with proven managers, solid cash flow, a respected position within their industry, growth potential, and a track record that speaks for itself.
